Missions
The heart of serving God in any local church is centered in the Mission work done by the members of that church. Here at First Baptist, we believe that our very purpose and goal is to proclaim the good news that salvation can only be brought about through the gospel of Jesus Christ. The Missions program at FBC is designed to do just that. Every program from weekly visitation to Vacation Bible School to foreign mission trips are designed in some way to share the gospel throughout the world. Our church members are involved in a variety of Missions opportunities throughout the year. We sponsor mission trips for different age groups, and place emphasis on the financial support through an annual Christmas offerring for Lottie Moon, which supports International Missions, and the Annie Armstrong Easter offering for North American Missions.
We believe that God's word teaches us that the effort and cooperation of all Christians are essential to accomplish His plan at FBC, within the community and throughout the world.
