FBC is collecting coats for Greensboro’s November coat distribution and New York City’s December coat distribution. Now is a good time to purchase coats on clearance, or they may be purchased for a nominal fee at Goodwill, Salvation Army, or the John Wesley Store in High Point. If you prefer to make a monetary donation and let someone shop for you, please designate your offering envelopes, “Coats for Greensboro and New York.” What is a coat? A coat is something that is heavy enough to keep someone warm in freezing cold temperatures in Greensboro or New York. A coat is not a hoodie or sweatshirt. It should be clean, in good condition, and something you would wear. Please leave your donations in the “Coats for Greensboro and New York” bins located outside the Sanctuary or CLC. For more information, please contact Jim or Wilma Morgan.
There will be a men’s conference Friday and Saturday, September 29th – 30th at Haw River State Park in Brown Summit. The cost is $30 per person. Please register online at: www.summerfieldfbc.com, or sign-up at the Welcome Centers if you are unable to register online.
